Our need to stock up on iron and standard red meat protein took us to Hotel Daniel.  Tucked away in the 3rd district and just next to the Belvedere, this is quite a neat place for hang out and easy dining.  The ambience is relaxing and the menu is simple with a reasonable selection.

About Hotel Daniel

Urban, modern and easy dining – we believe this place has become popular recently.  We’ve been here several times and we feel that the kitchen does an excellent job.  So, do come with an appetite for a good burger or a good steak – they do a fantastic job at this!

  • Food: 2.5 / 5, Don't get me wrong - food was excellent but ah the serving size for the fries was pathetic. What can you say?  I am a fries snob!  And the pavlova wasn't anything to scream about - it was soggy.

  • Ambience: 3 / 5,  A place where you can relax and enjoy their staropraomen on the tab without feeling that the next customer is waiting for you to leave.

  • Food: 4 / 5,  Their burgers are on my top five list for Vienna! If you have some American friends or colleagues visiting, then take them here and they will feel like home with the food.

  • Service: 2 / 5,  Although I am very happy with the people working in the kitchen, the waiters need to step it up.
