English tea time

This place reminds us of Alice in wonderland – ok, not us but Sue (who is the lady here).  Everything about this place is cute, adorable and so girlish.  They even have a chair that looks like high heels – perfect for any shoe-lovers (Sue included).

Fancy a good hearty English breakfast?  Yes we do!

About Café Little Britain

We came along with our hunger and we were fully satisfied.  We had the standard naughty English breakfast with sausages, eggs, beans, grease, toast – yes bring them on!!  Feed us! And scones, oooooh momma!!

And if you have a sweet tooth, we had this delicious cake (which sorry folks, we got distracted and forgot its name) but it’s loaded with desiccated coconut and chocolate.  It had a good balance and wasn’t over powering– you know the kind of sweetness that makes you feel diabetic or your kidneys would scream after…  And all the cakes are home-made.

So, what’s our take on this place?  Food was generally good but service was so-so.  The lady was really kind, attentive and quick but she seems to be the only actually offering a service.  When we asked for wifi password and actually wanted to place a second order, one of the the men simply walked past us and decided to stand behind the counter – although he very clearly saw us waving and the lady indicated this to him.  Maybe he felt safer behind the counter?  Maybe it wasn’t his day?  Whatever it was, we weren’t impressed.

  • Ambience: 3 / 5,  Cute, sweet, original, they certainly put great effort into the interior décor.
  • Location: 1 / 5,  Quite a pain in the posterior to get here… and if it rains, just to give a more realistic Brit feeling, there is no way I’m coming!
  • Food: 3 / 5.
  • Price: 3 / 5.
  • Service: 2 / 5.

Rating - Nicklas
  • Total overall rating: 2.8 / 5
  • Ambience: 3 / 5,
  • Location: 3 / 5,  A bit out of the center, so go with your car. Lots of parking spots infront of the place though.
  • Food: 3 / 5The full English breakfast was good and did its purpose.
  • Price: 3 / 5.
  • Service: 2 / 5,  They try to be a bit more friendly than that of your standard Vienna cafe but all the staff don't quite make it.
